It is important to protect your leather furniture from fading and drying. This means keeping leather furniture away from intense sources of light such as direct sunlight and sources of heat like fire places/heaters etc. A leather protection cream should be used regularly to prevent drying and cracking.

Nubuck Leather

It is important to protect your leather furniture from fading and drying. This means keeping leather furniture away from intense sources of light such as direct sunlight and sources of heat like fire places/heaters etc. A leather protection cream should be used regularly to prevent drying and cracking.

YEARLY
If your furniture is heavily soiled you will need to use a nubuck specific liquid cleaner. When cleaning nubuck with a liquid cleaner, you will need to clean the entire piece of furniture to make sure the colour remains even.

EMERGENCY
Ensure all instructions are followed when using 3rd party cleaning products and test in a inconspicuous area before using on entire furniture.

PLEASE NOTE
It is very important that you maintain the nubuck piece correctly and only use care products specifically designed for nubuck leather.

Its a good idea to protect your piece before using it. Apply a nubuck specific protector giving extra attention to high contact areas such as arm rests, head rests, seats etc.

Cleaning your leather regularly is advised however, be aware that over cleaning can cause the buffed finish of nubuck to ware down.

Fabrics

A textile products’ characteristics and quality is judged on the type, quality and quantity of the fibres and on how those fibres are processed. Fibres can be natural such as wool, silk, cotton, linen, etc., man made such as viscose or acetate or completely synthetic such as polyester or acrylic

All fabrics sold by Henri Living comply with the reliability requirements set by the UNI standards for upholstered furniture covers and with the Henri Living quality standards. The most important aspects that determines the quality of a fabric are its resistance to abrasion, fading or pilling.

Cleaning requires only a light scrubbing with a minimal domestic detergent solution. Never use scouring pads - particularly on high gloss finishes.

Stubborn stains and those that are left to soak in can be released with a little white spirit however, treated areas must be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water and re-waxed.

Being a natural material, marble finishes are porous and will absorb all any liquids left on the surface for even relatively short periods of time. Its advisable to always use coasterswhere available - particularly on lighter coloured stones.

Any marble, granite, onyx and stones are natural materials which will display variances from piece to piece. The grains/shades of colour will display differences that are not to be considered as blemishes or faults and emphasise the uniqueness of the product.

Coastal Areas
